PC cable for a Bearcat BC895XLT Scanner

Anybody know where I can get a PC cable for the Bearcat BC895XLT Scanner so I can use the PC with a software program to program teh scanner?

Well, yes, if you know what to buy. Unfortunately the 895 doesn't use a standard DB9 connector; the connector to use is actually off a discarded CD Rom drive (I think it's the audio cable).

Anyway, there's full information about how to assemble the cable, or where to buy a complete one on the BC895 FAQ;
