Default Starsoft or scancat for my 2096 and 2055

Wonder which is best for them and easy to use.

Starsoft is a delight for my needs. I've used win92, win93, win95, win97, and the win-converter and they always work great.

I've not heard too many good things about scancat.

You can try win96 for 30 days before you buy it to make sure it works for you.

The WIN XX products are the best way to go, without a doubt.

Scancat lite does work. But it takes a lot of time in uploading to the scanner especially the 2096.

I went with Win96 overall.

Default win96

Scancat-lite is not the way to go, buy win96.

I am a real idiot when it comes to computers and downloading, etc. but the Starrsoft program is very easy to use and works flawlessly on my 2096. I can't imagine trying to program this beast of a scanner without Starrsoft.
