win 96

When I download freq. I have more that 29 Alpha tags. but on the software there is only room for 29. So is 29 the max I can use or does it drop one and add one when I import the file.

I think you mean talkgroups.
To the left of the talkgroup "box", you will see "bullets' 0 - 4, and each of those has a check-box beside it.
If you select the next "bullet", you will see the rest of the talkgroup ids (and alpha-tags where applicable) that Win96 has imported.
The check-box turns that groups of id's on and off.
