Default Moving ARC246 Files to ARC996?

Hi Guys:
Anyone know the procedure for moving files from the Butel ARC246 program to the ARC996 program? I have a bunch of systems I want to move from my 246T to my new 996T.
Thanks!

I did it once. Just open the 246 file with 996. HOWEVER, the files get all screwed up if you try to go back to 246. Let me caveat this by saying it was a while ago, and I think that's how it went.

Thanks Bill:

I did try that, but the data winds up in all the wrong fields on the data entry screen.

I just took all the channels/frequencies from my 246 and put them in a spread sheet and then copied them over to my 996. I am sure that there is a better way, but that was the only thing I came up with.

Sorry, then. Hmmm. Guess copy/paste to a spreadsheet would work (as someone above posted).
