Please, folks, when you check your e-mail for your permanent code, remember to check your junk or bulk e-mail folder. I registered Win97 two days ago. I got the reciept immediately in my Yahoo inbox but didn't get my registration key. Don sent a nice e-mail this morning with the key but, for some reason, it ended up in my Yahoo bulk mail folder. I have been checking it for the last two days thinking this might happen, even though I have Don Starr listed in my address book. Yahoo, and a lot of other e-mail systems, have some pretty arbitrary criteria for what's considered junk so don't assume you didn't get your key if you only check your regular inbox.

Perhaps slightly off topic, but I feel gratitude is due. Information for all: soon after purchasing my first scanner (PRO-2053) a few years back, I downloaded Win93 (free or share?ware). It took a few trys and playing with com settings, but now works great every time! "Controls" 2053 better than RadCommander controls newest toy 2052! Thank you Don. Good product!

THANK YOU DON!! I sent you my money order last July. My wife kept telling me to get my money back from the money oder (I would of lost $12 in the deal) but I kept on believing all your loyal people on this forum who believe in you. I knew there had to be some sort of an explanation as to why this happened. I will be looking for my permament key in the e-mail soon.

I just went out and bought the pro-2096. I also went on line and Became a full Member of RadioReference.com and downloaded and paid the $30 for Win96.. My question is... Is win97 an updated version of win96?? Thanks for helping Steve

Win96 is the software for the PRO-96 and PRO-2096. Win97 is for the PRO-97 and PRO-2055.

I downloaded win92 and used it to upload and download from my pro92 and I have to say that the software is great. During this process I discovered that I created a problem from manually programming that win92 allowed me to correct.

I wish I could say that but I had no other way to send $$$$$$$$$$ other then a money order on 1-13-07 and I have not gotten nothing not even replies to emails

Yep if I would have know this was going to happen I would have NEVER SENT MONEY ORDER

and just kept programming the scanner the old fashion way now Im out $25.00

DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY EXCUSES EITHER only posting this to WARN OTHERS

I don't know why Don doesn't say PayPal only and get rid of this hassle. The little amount he charges for the software makes dealfing with money orders a losing proposition.

I would aggree with that, even though I HATE paypal. I still used it to send Don money. That says a lot about his products
