Default Uniden BCD996T download freq file Gulfcoast

Would like to know if someone has the freqs already loaded that I can import into the software for Jackson County Sheriff's Dept. in Mississippi. I haven't a clue as to how to start from scratch.

are you using the software provided by Uniden? (UASD)

if so, i got a file for use by the BCD396T. I would like to think you could use it for the 996

I have the software from Uniden. My scanner is to be delivered Nov. 9th according to ups. I will try the file. I don't believe it would hurt anything. I also would like to listen to pretty much all that happens in Jackson co including fire on east side since that is where I live.
Thanks

Ok here is the file.

The only thing is you may want to change the quick key number.
In this file it is #02.

Let me know if you wonder about anything in the system

Enjoy and tell me how it goes!

The file shows up in the program and best I can tell it will work.
Thanks for saving me a lot of work. I will still have to learn the operations of everything but that can come later.

Will let you know when I get the scanner in and hooked up. I have a notebook computer without a serial port but I have ordered a db9 to usb adapter so I should be able to get it hooked up
Thanks

same here. i dont know why some notebooks/laptops dont have a serial port... i guess the popularity of USB is too overwhelming lol

no problem on helping out . i posted the file to the thread Lindsey Blanton has in the admin forum. hopefully it will be up on the Jackson County page for all to benefit from

happy scanning!

Default Scanner Freq file

I was able to do the file transfer to my new scanner by using an old 486 computer. Glad I had the old clunker still around.
The file was fine and I did a few lockouts to suit my taste.
Thanks again for the help.
