Default UASD help?

Can someone with UASD be available to recieve a system file and take a look at it? the link for the system is here http://radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&sid=3814

For some reason, the scanner just keeps going through and trying to find a control channel for either site on a BCT15. Im 1000 miles away from where the file is trying to be used and I'm at a loss, maybe someone can find an error in my system file.

I'm confused - are you saying that the system you are working on here is no where near your location (1000 miles away)?

Or are you saying you want someone to test the file in the area where that system can be recieved?

hehe, sorry. Im saying the system I'm working on is 1000 miles away from my location. I just need someone, anyone, to take a look at my USAD system file and double check my work because apparently, the user at the site is having trouble listening to anything.

kc0jar, looking at the system frequencies, & knowing the location, I'm guessing that possibly it should be programmed as a splinter system instead of a standard Type II. It's on the US-Mexico border, one of the triggers for a splinter, and the channel frequencies end in zeros. That's another, according to the manual. I'm too far from the international boundary myself to worry about those, but San Diego is another, on the border, that I understand is a splinter & gives people fits.

If you are using UASD, as you mentioned, the file can be edited with Notepad to change system type without redoing it. I don't have a BCT-15, but do have a 996, so should be similar.
