No text on EasyStream

I was able to get the EasyStream server up and running in about two minutes on my home WLAN. However, I have no text tags from my 780. Audio is fine. Tried 9600 and 19200 (changed com port baud rate as well).

What did I miss?

Make sure your data on the server is 8101 audio 8100 other than that i am lost

Yep. First rule of thumb is always try default settings first.

The other thing I forgot to mention is that the text is not showing on the server interface either...hmmmmm

I'm using a 25' cable...that might be the problem...

Yep - appears the cable length was the problem.
Swapped the 25' for a 8' and it all workee now.

Never did understand why scanner interface serial cables can't be longer than 10'. We have used 25' serial cables to interface external modems since the mi-90s without any problems.
