Default Xcorder Problems

I'm setting up Xcorder to record my "Line-In" on my computer but can;t for the life of me get Xcorder to recognize that my Line In is on the back of my computer. It keeps reverting to the front mic connection. Anyone have any ideas to get the software to recognize the rear line-in??

How is your mixer configured? Launch it with Start | Programs | Accessories | Entertainment | Volume Control.

When it opens, launch the Options | Properties dialog. Select the "Adjust volume for Recording" radio button. Select the devices you want to see slider volume controls for then press OK. Make sure the volum control is set to a reasonable level and the "Mute" button is not checked.

That didn't seem to work. As soon as I go in and select the rear audio input for recording and close it, it reverts right back to the front jack, which I don't want to use.
