I'm using a 796D scanner. When laying out my ID scan list for a bank I set all the ID's record option on. Does this only control the recorder for the software? When I go into the radio manually and check the ID's the record option is off. So I manually set the ID's I want to record to the ON setting. Problem is every time I update the scanner with new ID's it sets them all to off in the radio, the software says they are on.

I do not use the softeware recorder, I use an external digital recorder. Is there a way to do updates to the bank with out it changing all the record options to off in the radio. I have to go in manually every time and set them all back to ON.

The record flag is used for the scanners record output.
When you use the record output you must enable uploading of the record parameters in the software setup (trunk tab).
