ID Tracker II - Version 1.9.0 and Web Import Add-In
ID Tracker has been updated to Version 1.9.0
- Added support for the ID Tracker Web Import add-in.
- Corrected issue that prevented the deleting of lockout entries.
ID Tracker Web Import
ID Tracker Web Import is a new add-in for ID Tracker II which allows the importing of data from the internet. If installed, ID Tracker II will prompt to perform a web import when attempting to import or merge new trunk IDs.
Notes:
- Must be installed in the same folder as ID Tracker II.
- Only trunk ID downloads are supported. Conventional systems are not supported.
- Current supports only imports from www.RadioReference.com. You must be a registered Radio Reference user.
ID Tracker II and ID Tracker Web Import can be downloaded here: http://bellsouthpwp.net/k/d/kd5eis/I.../IDTracker.htm
If the web page is overloaded, the setupkits have been posted in the alt.binaries.radio-scanner newsgroup.

David,
Thank you for your great program! Now with this new feature of being able to do the import its even better!
I have downloaded ID Tracker II V1.9.0 and the ID Tracker Import V1.0.0. In the Import program I entered sys id 1802 (for Pinellas County Florida), entered my username and password for RR and hit the retrieve data button and I get the following:

Dan,
The Radio Reference system ID for Pinellas County is 270. 1802 is the Motorola system ID. When you click on the Pinellas County on RadioReference, the system ID will be displayed in the URL.
http://www.radioreference.com/module...ame=RR&sid=270 <--
Do not run the import program directly. Go to the system editor in ID Tracker II. Click on Import or Merge. You should be prompted to retrieve the date from RadioReference. Click on Yes and the retrieve the data as you have already done. The utility should display the XML file in the display so the data can be examined.
After you have retrieved the data, click on the Import button. This should bring the data into ID Tracker.

Dan,
I'm not positive what you mean by 'system editor' - however, start ID Tracker II, then click on Set - then in the bottom right-half of the window you'll see a list of all of the systems (at least all of the ones it has seen/tracked information for thus far) - and from there you can double-click on the system.

Thank you very much MTindor! That was the step I was missing. I didn't know to double click on a system.
Thank you,
Dan

No problem Dan, glad to help. There are a lot of helpful guys here who will answer your questions when they can.
I'm gonna go fire up mine now and mess around a little bit.

Dan,
You don't necessarily have to double-click on the system. You can also select the system and click on "Edit". I try to make my software intuitively obvious, but sometimes the programmer's disease gets in the way. :-)
