Through all my testing with Tracker II, I have been unable to get the record audio fucntion to work. Does anyone know of a scanner voice recorder that I can choose how long it will record(in minutes) before creating a new file that is free?
The one I am using now works good, but when I come home, I will have 2 or 3 hours of chat in 1 file and want that to be smaller.

I'm sure Dave (brscanning) will jump on this bandwagon as soon as he is able, but in the meantime...Did you try the free Scannerbase software? Also (tho not free), the pro version of ARC396, Scan Control as of version 6.0 and Trunkstar Elite all have the capability of recording. I haven't seen any reviews yet of how well SC and Trunkstar do their recording, but do know that a lot of folks like ARC396.... 73s Mike

I have worked with Dave a little bit. I have just been stuck because every other software works to record on my 396T and no one else is having the problem. I will look at some of the others. I continue to mess around with it from time to time. thanks
