Question Software for BC250D

I just purchased a Bearcat BC250D used. It came with the E-scanner software but as I read the online manual it appears that it is only good for conventional system loading. My local PD is trunked digital and all the other PD's are trunked also. It says to use E-scanner plus for trunked systems. I'm brand new to this and I want the best and easiest to use software to load my scanner. Should I D/L the E-scanner plus from the Uniden site or is there something better for my particular radio?
Thanks in advance for your help.

PnK, welcome to the forum.

Mark is correct, get ARC250. With your subscription to this forum, you will be able to import your trunking system directly to ARC ready to load into the scanner.

Regarding E Scanner Plus. I live on the east coast and would be very happy if the only copy of E Scanner Plus in existence was in the pacific ocean. I used my worthless copy 1 time at a cost of 100 bucks in Jan 03 but ARC was still two more weeks from release.
