Default ARC396 & ARC396 Pro - FCC Lookup?? and other questions...

I hope this is not another set of dumb questions...

Why doesn't the FCC lookup become availible all the time?, when in the ARC 396 programs.
Sometimes its availible on the drop down menu bar, and other times its just "radioreference.com" is the only choice.

Also, why does the software, in both versions, transfer "BLANK" channels over the scanner?
Channels that have NO frequencies attached to them. I have to delete them manually.
Doesn't happen all the time, though.

If I register for the current ARC 396 BASIC today, will I be able to download and fully use ver.2 when it's availible later this week?

AND... Do I have to be a "Premium Member" of Radio Reference to use the service to automatically load to the scanner? Even if I have a registered version of ARC 396 Basic?

The menu is dynamic, when FCC search is relevant it is shown.

The software does not transfer blank channels, they are ignored. Make sure that the frequencies you entered are within range of the scanner else the scanner may refuse them and set them to zero.

Yes, unlike other software companies our software comes with free lifetime updates.
