Question need help w/tk 250

I need to re-flash my tk-250's firmware (have prog blinking on display and it won't go away). I need help as this is my personal duty radio and I need to get it back in service asap. How do I reflash the firmware w/o having to take it to a shop. The nearest Kenwood shop is about 8 hours away from me. I do have the programming cable and kpg23d, however with the radio being stuck in paperweight mode, I can't enable main programming w/the software. So, how do I re-flash the radio.

Thanks

Can't help with your problem, but would that be Zwolle, LA? In a previous lifetime, I had a software client in Many.

Not specific to reflash, but does have info on programming ( setting up radio for programming )

I would suggest registering with the radio-info board, but Grog has had no luck, I'm not registered either, usually find the answer by searching the board, you can do that with-out the registration, try the Kenwood Commercial products forum.

I've already read all the stuff there at ham-forum. Good people there, but nothing on firmware. As for searching on RI board, I did and couldn't find anything on the flash. Thanks for the help though.
