Default Problem programming EDACS with ARC 396

I have noticed a problem with ARC 396 when trying to program EDACS Standard into my Uniden 396T. When programming these systems using RadioReference web import it will enter these systems as EDACS Narrow. I feel like an idiot because it took me 30 minutes to figure this out, after all I have programmed these systems before with RR and ARC but not with this particular scanner.

I notified Butel and the said "Thanks for your feedback. This is an isue that will be fixed in the next release" Gee if you knew about this it would have been nice if you told your customers.

I think the first time I submitted this bug to Butel was last year and again this year. I too was confused by this, I went to Niagara Falls and before I went I downloaded a trunked site to my scanner and went to Niagara Falls and for the life of me I could not get the system to trunk. When I got back home I figured out what had happened and was very disappointed because one of the reasons I went to the Falls was to listen to this trunked system and find new id's and other information on the trunked system.

Moved to the Scanner software forum, I fail to see how this has anything to do with this site's administration, help or suggestions.
