Download the software, load it and see if it works. You have 30 days of free unlimited use before you must purchase the key. In that period you should be able to tell if it works or not.

Default Vista

Win96 and Win97 both work fine on my Vista PC's as well as my XP machines.

FWIW, reports of the programs working (or not) are all I have to go on when people ask if Win9x works on Vista. I don't have (nor do I have any plans to have) a Vista PC.

As far as I'm aware, there is no reason why any of my Win9x programs should not work on any version of Windows, from 2000 up through Vista. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee performance on Windows 9x (95, 98, 98 SE, Me). The programs were tested on 95 and 98 (including SE) years ago, but I no longer have access to those "operating systems".

The answer to your question is yes it works on Vista, as do Win96 and Win500. Unless you have had it on your computer for more than 30 days then you don't need a key, it will ask you to register at startup but wait a few seconds and the button will ungray itself so you can click it and have full access to the program.
