Default Alternate nascar frequencies in win95

I tried to enter some alternate frequencies, example 464.21000, but it rounds it to 464.21250, are these not good ones to use or will it be close enough to receive? For some reason ALL of the alternate frequencies I have for nascar have two decimal places and the rest 0s.

464.2100 is not a valid frequency according to the FCC band plan for that section of the spectrum. It sounds more like your source of frequencies took some shortcut or another. The question then becomes is it 464.20625, 464.21250 or 464.21875?

a scanner in search mode is so wideband that it will start picking up a signal before it gets to the actual or center frequency. Its a good idea if in search mode and you pick up a signal to then try stepping to see if there is a stronger signal.

lol, yeah, none of those are close to the actual frequencies. I wonder if someone was using something other than a scanner to come up with those.
I usually get my race day frequencies from Racing Radios as they get the PL & DPL tones as well...at least around Indy it makes a big difference as too many business radios are in the area of the track and without PL/DPL you can get some very annoying comms. The worst though was at this years Indy 500 where some guy gave his kids 2 ways and they yacked it every day, including race day. Apparently it was a car owners kids from the conversations.... and they were definately spoiled rotten!

I noticed you have a pro 95 which I have and used it a bunch at local tracks and when I went to bristol. I got some feedback from other drivers. I got a pro 96 and all the problems went away. It was because the 95 can't do tones which all of nascar freq have CT or DC tones. If you ever have problems and you are a big nascar fan you should see about getting a pro 99 or the unden equal.
