Default ARC396 Basic, FCC Search fails

HTTP 404 ERROR:
The page you have accessed is no longer available at this address. The server may be experiencing errors or the application may have moved. Please go to the main FCC Homepage or locate your application via the link below. Remember to update your bookmarks accordingly. Thank you!

Is there a file users can fix somewhere in the ARC396 folders?

Gommert posted this on his Yahoo group on 10/22/07:

The FCC website was changed some time ago so the software links to a page that does not exist anymore, but to my knowledge the new site does not have this specific search option (Frequency/State) anymore.

Understood that URLs are rearranged.

But couldn't the ARC396 folks contact the FCC to get the correct link and update the feature?

I would if I were Gommert.

Guess he's got his hands in too many fishbowls and not spending enough time in each.

A one man band can only do so much, right and wrong, imho, when it comes to making $$$ or €€€.

Gommert said in the quote from Mark that the new FCC search site does not provide the type of search needed to make this feature work anymore.

Unless the FCC changes the search functionality there isn't much Gommert can do about it, changing the link in the ARC software won't help.

Least of it's problems. Biggest piece of worthless software crap that I've ever seen. And Gommert doesn't do anything about it. Wouldn't be bad sharewhere, but for $70, it's a total joke.

Sorry mods. Needed to vent.
