Default Scancat-lite-plus with Radios shack 433

How well does the Scancat-lite-plus work with the Radioshack Pro 433 scanner.

I suspect you'll be much better off with ARC433 from BuTel and available from Scanner Master. While you can copy/paste freqs from Excel (if you have it) into Scancat Lite Plus, the much better choice is to become a premium subscriber and let the software pull the data directly from the RadioRef databases - something that Scancat can't do. (Note that anything in blue is a link)

Besides, most folks have made the same comment over and over again - SLP is poor software - there's much better software for almost every radio that package supports.

Only if you use the copy/paste method from Excel FMon has described in our wiki. You really want to use Win97 - don't waste your time on SCL, which is very lousy software

Not directly from the Database like Win97 does. The truth is you will be lucky if it works correctly without crashing your computer, or messing up the scanner settings and the frequencies you want to actually upload.
Save yourself the headache and use Win97.

I've coded up a quick article that lists all the alternatives to that lousy software, and which ones have RR import ability (they're in bold). Some don't have links because the BuTel website didn't support going directly to that page, but in general, most do. You can find the article here If at all possible, stay as far away from SCL as possible. 73s Mike
