No, Win97 will not open Win95's "P95" files.

A roundabout way of converting P95 to P97:
1. Download and run my "WinXX Data Converter" program, converting your P95 files to P96.
2. Download and run my "Win96" program (if you've never used it, it will run for 30 days)
3. In Win96, open each of the P96 files and "export" them to CSV files
4. In Win97, import each CSV file and save as P97. i.e. File -> New, import CSV, File -> Save.

Or, you could copy/paste channels and talkgroups between Win95 and Win97. You won't get other "trunking" settings, though.
