ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Congrats Bob and good luck on the new release.

One suggestion for your web page; be sure to mention that a premium subscription to RR is required for the imports to work. The information can be pulled from our wiki, and the article can be linked to just like any other web page;

Ok. Oversight on my part as there was many things to do at release time.

Next version will include an UASD import/export feature for DMA and non DMA scanners that ProScan supports.

Why not include the BCD396T as well since it's the same as the BCD996T?

I will be adding the BC15 after the next release(in a month) then the BC996 after that.

No not quite. The 396 doesn't support multi site trunking, nor does it do any of the GPS based scanning features. However, I would bet that the 396 (and perhaps the BCT15) have several common functions in the firmware, and that should make it easier for Bob, to be sure.

The BCT15 doesn't do digital at all, and has less channel capacity. Interesting how the 3 are similar in some ways, not in others.

I'm waiting on Build 3 to see how the naming of the recordings are. I think it's what's I'm looking for. :)

It should be what you're looking for. If not then let me know.

FYI - I'm in the process of changing my site to a new host and you may see it down until DNS servers get updated with the new host info.

Your site is working for me @ 1330hrs. Looks like a neat pgm.

I don't know if the newer GRE digital scanners are "DMA" or not so excuse this if they are not. If so do you plan to add support for them ?

No, I’m focusing exclusively on the Uniden products and will be adding the 15, 396, 246, and the 230 this year.

ProScan Version 1.7 Build 3 Is Out!

I've added several items, many are user requested.

Import UASD files (all types) to ProScan (DMA and non-DMA scanner types)
Multiple sound cards support (capture)
Recorder user selectable filenames format
Recorder option lookup record flag from database
Recorder no loss
Quick Key assignment shows quick keys in use (DMA scanners)
Caption ICON user selectable
ProScan Sessions Manager

ProScan supports the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D Scanners. ProScan is feature rich with the friendliest user interface.

Thanks Bob...

Build 3 names the files like I was looking for. (folders per each day would help organize, but I'm not complaining.) works beautifully!!
