I'll make the necessary changes in the wiki later this morning. I have an ice storm to navigate to get to work.

I have used .4 for programming and controlling both the 246T and 330T. FreeSCAN .4 seems to work fine and I would highly recommend it.

The only little bug I noted is that if you try to program an AM broadcast freq of .990 MHz (1000 KHz) or below on the 330T it warns you that it is an invalid freq...although it does take it and works fine anyway.

Glad to hear that you like the program. One of the features I'm planning for the future is the option to disable certain warning messages.

Angry Problems opening .msi

Well, have tried 2 downloads, but keep getting "package cannot be opened..." error - Any thoughts?

Went to MS and downloaded latest "installer" version (WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe ), but get this: trying to run it results in "error running program" error - Fresh downloads give same error..

WINXP SP2

Tom

Sounds like there is something funky going on with your windows installation. Might want to check for hard drive errors, run a virus scan, and clean out the temp directory. Beyond that, reinstall. Thats my .02!
