Default Win500's Audio Record

I have a PSR500 & registered ver of Win500(ver1.41).

The record works fine. But for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it to record to one tgid/freq file each time there's a hit instead of creating seperate audio recordings of each hit even if they are from the same tgid or conv. freq.

I just recorded for approx 20min's & got 62 seperate recordings of a busy tgid. How do I set it up to make one file of that tgid & record to that same file each time it hits ?

Thankyou for any help.

Rob

Win500 starts a new recording on each new "conversation". That is, if the radio goes back to its "Scanning" display, any current file is closed.

Yes I know. That's why I'm ending up with so many audio files. How can I get it to append to tgid files that have been opened ?

For example tgid #1 transmits. Win500 now has that trans from tgid #1 recorded. The radio goes back to scanning. Tgid #1 again has traffic. Instead of Win500 starting a new audio file recording of tgid #1 , I want it to append to the first tgid #1 file.

I ran Win500 last night & ended of with 625 audio files of the same 5 or 6 tgid's. Would not it be much more manageable to have those same 5 or 6 tgid's appended to & only end up with 5 or 6 large audio files ?

That's the way my Uniden 996t works with the software pgm I use for it. Is this not possible with Win500 & a PSR500 ?

Thankyou ,

Rob
