Arc 996 & 396

Hi Folks,

I programmed both my scanners with the same program and erased prior to uploading. When I checked the mem used on the 996 was at 19% and the 396 was 38%. Why were they not equal?

Because the 996 holds 500 systems and the 396 holds 400

Check the details on the 996 screen. It lists percentages of systems, sites and channels separately; the single number you're seeing is a blend of those.

Thanks for your input guys, I did forget about the 100 systems differance. I guess that was never a critical spec for me and I looked at both as being equal.

I will miss the Startup Keys on the 396.
