3D Tech's SCAN CONTROL: Opinions ?

Searching for 3D Technologies SCAN CONTROL software, I found only 2 posts. I know that there are two other more popular software products, but this one interested me.

I'm interested in this software and would enjoy hearing any opinions, pro or con, on this software. Ease of use is certainly an issue and sophisticated features is not.

What scanner(s) are you using the software with?
In the past I’ve purchased software that was recommended and got good reviews only to find it was not what I wanted. I'm not trying to be a smart a$$ but, why don't you download the demo to see if it meets your needs. It looks good and supports a lot of scanners and I’m thinking new scanners will be supported with updates instead of having to buy yet another software package.
