I have an unused magmount antenna that performed awesome when on my car. I replaced it with another. I would like to now use this magmount as a base antenna at home. Why waste good equipment? How would I go about transforming this ito a functional base antenna. I doubt I can just plunk it out on a fence post and expect it to net any results.
MAXSCAN1000 is the antenna I write of with a magnetic mount. I could go with the "official" kit, but don't really want to put in a lot of expense.
