www.eham.net has a ton of reviews on antennas and pretty much everything else. The X300 has a 4.6 out of 5.0. If you want an antenna that covers ham and public safety you may want to look at the Comet CA2X4SR, my friend has one and loves it. I have also read some good reviews on it. eham has a 5.0 rating on it, but with only 7 reviews. Hamcity has it for $10 below list.

Although I am sure the CA2X4SR is a good mobile antenna the OP is asking about a X300NA Dualband Base/Repeater antenna. I have used many of both the Comet and Diamond dual band base antenna's
in the past and they are both great performers for both ham and scanning performance purposes.
I am sorry about that , I am not sure why I put the mobile antenna up there. Senior moment I guess. The eham link to the x300 review covers the NA so you can get some feed back on it. I have been using the GP 15 for about a month and have been happy with it, but it is still early. Eham really does have some good reviews on just about everything, probably worth your while to take a look.
