I need some advice!!!

I have a Pro 2096 mounted in my truck with a RS tri band antenna. I live near Navasota but am from Bryan, texas. I have to be within 10 miles of Bryan to pick up the trunked systems. It drives me nuts because I know LEO brodcast on the trunked systems from more than 10 miles. Do I need a better antenna or an amplifier if there is such a thing? I also listen in the 150 MHZ for the analog systems.

Try a better antenna I have the same RS antenna they don't work to well on 800, I use a NMO mounted 800mhz antenna on my truck for my 2096 with very good results also works well on 150mhz and 400mhz. Have also had good results with the old 800 mag mount antennas...
