Hi long time lurker first post.I run my home scanner with a 3/8 mobile mount with a four foot antenna.I was looking at the three foot Firestik.Does anyone have any experience with it, and can speak to their performance?I generally monitor the 400-480 realm.I'm also open to suggestions on a better antenna that is compatible with the 3/8 mount.I know it's kind of old school, but on a large milk can next to my window it does fairly well for what it is.
