I have one. I originally had it mounted on the hood of my jeep. I notice they say it will scratch the paint in the link. Believe them and use something else if thats a concern. On my jeep, it wasnt. I now have it installed on my F150. I clamped it to the bedrail as a temporary placement until I could figure out a better place to mount it. I have yet to mess with moving it but it actually seems to work fairly well there. Should work better on a trunk lip with metal around it. For a $20 antenna, I have no complaints about mine.
