Looking for a GOOD/Great Scanner Antenna...For Home

I have a 1,000 channel scanner and Im looking for a Great or the best Base antenna I can mount onto the side of my House or on the Facerboard...

What bands are you particulary interested in? For the best performance, you'll need an antenna thats tuned to the particular band of interest. For multi-band antennas, I hear the Scantenna is a great performer, but it's big. Another option is the Radio Shack 20-176 antenna, which I previously owned and was a good overall performer.

I use a Scantenna mounted to the side of my house near the peak. It does a good job on all bands. I posted a picture below for you. They are priced reasonably as well.
