Icom FA-1443B antenna

Anyone had experience with the Icom FA-1443B antenna for use on a handheld scanner ? Positives and negatives appreciated.

if looking for an SMA try the Kenwood stock Dual band duck. I've bought one and lost it, bought another and it got lost too, and cried many times over. I tried the RH519 and it plain sucks bad. so bad the VX7R duck is better. can't vouch for the Icom though.
