800 Mhz Mag Mount

Does anybody know of any good quality and reception 800Mhz Mag Mount antennas for under $40. I have been looking into buying one of these

and a RS 800Mhz BNC, because I like how it performs. Any ideas will help greatly.

Just keep an eye out for an older cell phone mag mount. they were optimosed for the 800 band. I've picked them up for <$4 at garage sales.... You may have to adapt/replace the connector....

scroll halfway down the page and its right under the first discone antenna on there.


I have that antenna with a perm nmo mount, and I have went through a few antennas and this is by far the best antenna money can buy, its amazing how well it will reach out there and get singals. I wasnt hearing a repeater 50miles away with my old antenna and then I put that antenna up there, and it came it crystal clear made me glad I orderd it!
