Does anyone know where I can buy a good cross-dipole (turnstyle) antenna for receiving 137mhz? I need an antenna for my weather satellite rig. I have been searching the internet for several days and cannot find a retailer.

Thanks!

Thanks for the information. I may have to end up building my own. I can't seem to find a retailer that carries this type of antenna. I wouldn't mind building one but right now I just don't have the spare time between my boss at work and my boss at home. :) But sleep is way over-rated. Building the right antenna is much more important!

Cross Dipole (Turnstile)

Nice to see someone who is a NOAA satellite fan. I am returning after several years off. Used to copy
them in the military (the old ESSA And Nimbus birds).
I kind of like the Hamtronics antenna (ref. DDan,s) post. Have to keep it in the apartment as I live with
the feared and dreaded 'No Outside Antennas' rule.
Any way, good luck with the 137 MHz stuff. I should by operational by 01 Feb.
