New to scanning and want to get a good all-around antenna. I've been reviewing posts and have seen that the RS 800 mhz, W-889, and RH77CA are popular. I'm looking for something better than the standard antenna I will get with the 396xt I just ordered. I'm new so I'll probably be checking out all the ranges for a while. I live in town in a medium sized city too. Thanks.
