I'm trying to make an outside antenna for my scanner, i have a tripod thats heavy and i have 2 poles and cable and the antenna i dont know if its going to work someone please help me?

What kind of antenna are you trying to make?
What is the tripod? One that screws to your roof? And then do you plan to attach the poles on top of that?
