antenna help

looking for advice on a good outdoor scanner antenna.i hate discones and i currently using the "scantenna from grove"! i like to listen to 33.000 thru 499.000.i live north of pittsburgh,pa in armstrong county,pa.my scanner is the bct15.thanks for any advice or help in the right direction.

you already have a good one....

33.000 - 499.00MHz is going to require a multi band antenna.
Your using one now the ST2 (scantenna) and you dont like the only other multi band antenna = Discone.

So There really is no other choice for you.

Your not going to cover that band spread with a Yagi................
