preamp problem

Hi,I just purchased a preamp from Ray Electronics. He added bnc to the sma adapters.What do i need to do to make this work? My outdoor antenna is the scantenna an i use the bearcat bct 15 scanner. Should i try an take the bnc adapters off or what kind of advice can someone give me to make this work.Hope to hear from someone soon. thanks

You need to provide a bit more information. Do you have a web link to this device? How are you supplying power to the preamp?

You need a short coax jumper with bnc connectors to attach the pre-amp to the scanner. Your coax from the antenna attaches to the input side of the pre-amp and the scanner attaches to the output side.

Doug-why won't the BNCs work on your system? +1 on more info.

Is it powered via the coax or does it have separate power connections? If powered via the coax you need an appropriate power inserter.
