Just bought my Mom a 2096 for her birthday. She lives in an apartment building and of course cannot put up an outdoor antenna. I hooked up a RS 800mhz rubber ducky, but it just isn't strong enough to pull the signal in. Works great though on low, high, and UHF.

Any ideas on a good antenna for 800mhz INDOOR USE? Thanks!

You can alway use an outdoor antenna indoors as long as you have some room. An 850 MHz yagi isn't that big and they do work pretty good indoors as long as it is pointed in the direction of the transmitter you wish to recieve. I've had one hanging by string in my attic for a few months and it works quite well, better than the RS 800MHz antenna.
