Just got it today and am running it now.. So far its a great antenna. Just as good as the Radio Shack on VHF Hi, and UHF... Is just a tad lacking in comparison on 800 MHz.... The only feature i don't like is that you only have one coil element built into the whip and can't adjusted to make multiple custom length antennas from one base platform. I will eventually do some trimming to optimize performance, or just find some different sized whips and work my magic... But so far awesome antenna... Am pulling in VHF Hi band from respectable ranges (so far doing good at up to 100 miles, which is about what I am accustomed to pulling with a good mag mount on rooftop at 10-15 foot off ground in high elevation.)

i probably gained 30-50 miles receive range depending on the radio site, and in town vhf is clear as day, best 20 bucks ever

Hustler MRM scanner antenna

I got one of these bad boys for Christmas and it is a very good antenna. The first time I set it on my car for a test run I picked up a FD frequency at least 50 miles away if not more plus I am picking up more frequencies than I have ever before. This antenna is worth it ! I think another one is in my future for my other scanner
