Cool Laird Scanner Antenna

Just a FYI for anyone looking for a NMO scanner (Rx) antenna.

WPSAntennas has the chrome version on sale while supplies last... They also have black, but it's full price. They also sell a spring-loaded version as well. The overall height is around 19 inches.

without Spring:

ASCANC - Antenex Scanner Antenna (150/450/800 MHz, Receive only Gain, Chrome)

with Spring:

ASCANCS - Antenex Scanner Antenna w/Spring (150/450/800 MHz, Receive only Gain, Chrome)

Here's a more accurate picture without spring:

I don't think they're discontinued entirely -- just the chrome model.

OK. I like the powder coat antennas anyway...the don't rust.
