RadioShack disc one now what?

Well I figured with our local radioshack closing I would try and get a good deal on something so I bought the discone for $30. Now the question I don't really have space outside my house and no access to the attic so what are my options as far as getting this up and running?

It probably mounts to a 1"-1/14" pipe. Get a 3-5' pipe and clamp to chimney. Or attach to eves with antenna brackets. Be sure to ground it well. And use a lighting arrestor. Even at that. I wouldn't leave it connected to the radio during a thunderstorm.

mine was on the dining room table...

ok it was after the kids grew up and the girlfriend had left.
even called it my cheap christmas tree.
it sure started many a conversation of "so what are you doing now"
and the new girlfriend even carries a scanner to work to listen to it.

it will even work in a closet.
