Scantenna question

Would it be possible to transmit using the Scantenna on the aircraft frequencies or would too much have to be cut on it to make this possible. I'm not even sure if it's possible, but I figured I'd ask.

It's not designed at all for transmitting.

It's basically a modified TV antenna.

You would be better off with a 1/4 wave on aircraft frequencies for xmitting.
