Mag mount Antenna

Hello all I hope this is not a dumb or much asked about question but does the radio shack mag mount Antenna better than the stock antenna I have the RS pro 2055 and what i mean by better is , as far as the reception goes , I live in NY and im in a condo so location is not easy ?

If you have an attic, you would do much better with a full size antenna - barring that, a mag mount indoors is a huge compromise, no matter how you slice it. You will be able to move it around a bit to find the 'sweet spot' (every building has at least 1) where the freqs you want to hear come in clearer. In general, though, get it up nice and high and as close to an outside wall or window as you can. 73s Mike

no i dont have an attic i am on the ground floor so i guess it is better than my stock telescope antenna
