antenna suggestions?

I am having limited reception with my current antenna in my mobile. Vehicle is a jeep wrangler with a fiberglass roof so i am limited in areas to mount the antenna , now i have a 18" fiberglass ant. on rear bumper any suggestions?

Can you provide any additional information as far as what frequency range you listen to?

I've personally never had much luck with the fiberglass antennas so the first thing i would probably do is find a Larsen or Maxrad antenna that doesn't require a ground plane and go from there. You might also consider mounting it near the hood. You have the antenna mounted to your bumper and the antenna doesn't even clear the top of your rig, so that is going to block alot of the signals.
