One Field Day the group I was with used a "GIQ" "Gansett Imperial Quart" bottle as the base insulator for a beer can vertical for 40 meters. Gansett is short for a brand known as Narragansett which was popular many years ago. Those Corona bottles can't handle a tower. This guy is dreaming, they'd be shattered at the first bird dropping in on a guy wire. I wonder what numb skull is going to buy them to use on his 200 foot tower. They'll be shattered in no time. He has liquidation of the brain if he wants to use something like that on a tower.

Now, this is a tower insulator (WBZ): Thanks to www.fybush.com where you can see lot's of radio towers, transmitters, studios and buildings.
