Hi
Can you help me with Dual slant antenna measurement?
Regular antenna test procedure is not correct for dual slant antennas
Because the polarization changes during the test

Going to guess, Dual Antennas on a Semi-truck that are at an angle. Usually done on 11 meters.

Ah, you mean Twin Truckers that didn't quite make it under the bridge!

OK, so much for the sarcasm so maybe I'll wait to find out what sort of antenna this is, what sort of test and what any of this has to do with polarization. (WOJ, if he's a CBer this should be interesting, hi.)

That call that by azimuth and elevation, rather than H plane and V plane radiation patterns. That's a WIFI or WIMAX antenna. I would guess it's because you could use it mobile and it compensates for various polarities of WIFI hot spots.

By azimuth and elevation it's O.K.
But what should be the source antenna polarization ?
(polarization of antenna under test changes during the rotation from -45 to +45 deg)

maybe use two 1/4 wave antennas. one vertical and one horizontal. take references from both and average the results.

what are you looking to accomplish? is this something for commercial use?
