How About This Antenna?

Anyone out there tried this antenna from Radio Shack

Yes, I did... as you can see in my signature, I own all those handheld antennas...

The deluxe performs slightly better than a stock ducky on VHF/UHF, other than that nothing special.

I did a lot of switching antennas around on my 2 scanners, and currently my 97 is with the RS 800mhz and my 83 is with the RH77CA. I found that the RH77CA is even better than the deluxe on VHF/UHF, but no HUGE difference...

Positioning is much more important.

I have a RH77CA it works good on 155 & 450.
I was thanking about trying the RS Deluxe.

I have one on a Pro96 but she comes off in the truck, at the office and at home. But I'm the kind that will put a discone on a bicycle. Better than 96 the stocker but as others say nottahollata.

I did. Wasn't that impressed. Tried it on a pro-528. Really couldn't see a differance.
