They are an amazing antenna.

Half the fun of this S-20R is just blind tuning...

Half the fun of this S-20R is just blind tuning never knowing what you might catch. I only use the dial indicator if I want to tell others where I hear a signal.

Those features are there. On the home page one someone has entered a freq heard other user can click the "I heard it to" link and enter their report. And users can see the live reports and pinpoint...

I have ran a ground wire to all of my computer equipment, switches and routers. Seams to help.

My main noise source was my main PC's power supply. I haven't replaced it yet, I just shut it off...

Actually that modem is a wireless modem. My parents have the same one and I just set up the wireless on it last night. Makes the first wireless I have seen that is antenna-less too.

At around 15 after the hour it started...

At around 15 after the hour it started transmitting what sounded like data, but carrier was intermittent. This happened for 30 minutes then went back to previous transmission.
